The NC dividing unit RW / NC is specially designed for horizontal and vertical use on CNC machine tools and machining centers:
- User friendly data interface connection (Hofmann’s plug-in performance) maximizes compatibility and ease of use.
- Space saving, accurate, rigid and flexible design.
- High speed and precise positioning of dividing spindle.
- Superior cutting performance with out technologically advanced high quality clamping system.
- The clamping system operates hydraulically.
- Synthetic lubrication allows for maintenance free operation.
- Fourth axis in conjunction with your controller.
- “Stand Alone” applications or interfacing with machine control to be actuated by “M” functions with our Hofmann CNC control system CPS 20 or the Hofmann NC stepping motor control SAM alpha.

- Short taper KK (DIN 55026)
- ISO taper (DIN 69871).
- Positive taper lock HSK (DIN 69893).
- Table plate with T-slots (DIN 650 H12).
- Three / Four jaw chucks, power clamping fixtures.
- Clamping systems: i.e. Mecatool GPS, Erowa ITS, System 3R, Hirschmann, Somatec, etc.
- Multiple spindle design (RW / NC –2 to –6).
- Tiltable design available (RS / NC).
